I Think There's Two

I ran into a woman at the grocery store one day that looked very familiar.  After a few moments we realized that we had both been a part of the Northland Mothers of Multiples, a club to support mothers of twins, triplets, quads or higher order multiples.  After catching up a bit I asked why she wasn’t a member of the club anymore and was quite frankly shocked to hear what she had to say.  

She told me that while she loved to hear about other mom’s journeys with twins she always left feeling more isolated than before she got there.  She said she would listen to mom’s talk about their kids, the quirky stories of development, the neat twin bonding moments and quietly sink into herself.  She loved her kids deeply but she was having some serious challenges.
