I am currently in the middle of my honors capstone project: a two-year scholarship project focusing on my chosen field. I wanted to combine my passion for journalism with another passion of mine—social justice. I decided to return to Ecuador during the summer between my junior and senior years of college to work in a home for pregnant teens coming out of crisis situations.
