Unilab Foundation believes that Persons with Disabilities can contribute in their own unique way. Given the right conditions, they can not only do the job, but do the job better than anyone else- they can excel. Through Project Inclusion, Unilab Foundations seeks to prove, by way of a research study, that hiring PWDs (particularly those with Autism and Down Syndrome) mutually benefits the company, the team and the person with disability.

Most people are not aware of the current landscape of PWD employment in the country. There are 1,443 registered PWDs in the Philippines (1.57% of the population). That the world average of PWDs is 10% of the population suggests that not all PWDs are accounted for. Experts cite possible reasons for the low registry as non-diagnosis of PWDs and social stigma against them.
